Feel you heart pound to the beat of Indian drums, as you experience the beauty and passion of an American Indian Pow Wow. A traditional pow wow is a time of gathering and celebration with friends and family. Where all nations come together at one place for traditional dancing, music, arts and crafts, and food. Native Americans come from across the country and Canada to participate in the dance competition and a drum contest for prize money. Drums and songs are the heartbeat and the inspiration of pow wows. Everyone is welcome at a pow wow regardless of the tribe; non-Indians too. The pow wow brings the circle of people closer together-closer to their family, friends and their American Indian culture.

Location: Mt. Juliet Horse Arena
